How therapy can help

Sometimes our problems can feel complicated and difficult to overcome, or we may feel that our difficulties will be thought of as trivial and we should be able to deal with them better. Therapy can help with many difficulties and problems, such as:-

  • Feeling low or depressed
  • Relationship problems
  • Worries about partners, family, our children or others
  • Anxiety and panic attacks
  • Feeling stressed and/or overwhelmed
  • Problems with weight control
  • Phobias and irrational fears
  • Feelings of being unable to cope
  • Problems with your own, or another person's drinking
  • Loss and bereavement
  • Feeling angry or frustrated
  • Self injury and self defeating behaviours
  • Sleep problems

... along with many other feelings and symptoms which are troubling and can cause us to feel distressed and often alone.
