What is counselling?
Counselling is a talking therapy that allows a person to talk about their problems, thoughts and feelings to a person trained to listen, in a safe, confidential and trusting environment.

HOW COUNSELLING CAN HELP

Counselling can help with a wide range of issues, from day-to-day worries or concerns to more serious, long-term problems.

We are all human and share the same feelings and emotions at different times in our lives.

Everyone has different ways of coping with their personal challenges and the difficulties that modern day life can throw at us.

Some people deal with stressful situations and events by talking to their partner, friends or a family member. Others may avoid the problem in the hope that it will simply go away; or the problem could involve someone close to them so they feel that they can’t talk to anyone confidentially about it. Not dealing with these personal conflicts can result in us becoming stuck in a cycle of unhappiness.

If you are experiencing difficulties in your life, talking to a trained therapist can help you to understand your feelings and emotions and find a solution to your problem.
